The COVID –vaccine will be available at SpaPraktijk. Soms specific time slots will be reserved in the agenda in the first 2 weeks of October to administer the vaccine. You can make an appointment online in the agenda of dr. Stein Bergiers ‘COVID vaccination’ or by telephone. For patients on Belgian mutuality the costs are fully covered by the mutuality. For patients withprivate insurance we will charge 26€. (partially reimbursed by their insurance)
The COVID-19 booster is available to everybody, however the following groups have a higher risk in developing serious COVID -19 and vaccination is recommended :
- Everybody over 65 years
- Residents of nursing homes
- All pregnant women, regardless of the stage of their pregnancy
- Any person with a Body Mass Index over 40kg/m2
- Any person aged 18 years and older with at least 1 co-mobidity( disease) even when stabilized.
- Any person aged 18 years and older with reduced immunity because of illness or treatment
- Persons under 18 years with a reduced immunity or a chronic disease
The vaccine is also recommended for
- All persons working in the healthcare sector
- All persons living together with people with a reduced immunity
