Kind reminder of how the practice works

Dear patients,

We understand that it can be frustrating when it is difficult to reach us on the phone. We try our best to help every patient. But it is also important for us and our patients to keep structure in the practice and set boundaries.

You can reach the secretary between 8.30 and 12 to schedule appointments. This can only be done on the phone. We don’t give appointments by e-mail. Try to keep your agenda with you when you call and check your own availability so we can keep these calls short.

We leave appointments for emergencies on the same day. If you need a blood test, repeat prescriptions, vaccinations or other things that are less urgent, don’t wait too long to schedule your appointment. Take into account that you might have to wait a week or 2 to get an appointment.

You can talk to the doctors on Monday, Tuesday or Friday between 13.30 and 14.30. If you need documents, presciptions or if you have a lot of questions, please book an appointment.

If you have Covid, you can call the secretary and ask for a telephone consultation. We will call you after our consultation, so it might be late in the evening.

During the summer holidays there will be less availability. There will always be at least one doctor. We will always be available for emergencies (children, trauma, infections,…) but we will postpone non-urgent consultations until after the summer. Covid has taken its toll on doctors too, so we will allow ourselves to slow down in the summer.

Thank you for your understanding. We wish you a lovely summer and hope you can also allow yourself to slow down and take a break. Selfcare isn’t selfish 😉
